Food for thought

In my prayer time this morning I was reading in Colossians. The following scripture struck me in a deep way. It is taken from "The Message" Bible which usually has quit different words and which I often find interesting.
Colossians 2:8-10 Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that's not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don't need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.
Gail continues to feel well and is now back to her normal self, a month after her injection. So many people ask how are you and what can we do? Here's the deal!! We are doing very well now. We continue to consult medical doctors and people in the wellness field. We are very peaceful where things are at and we are living life to the fullest. Probably too full as this week was very very busy but fun.
We are looking forward to Gail's sister Debbie and her husband Dale being able to stay with us tonight and also a family brunch on Sunday. I can hardly wait to make that huge pan of eggs with the sausage and veggies. We greatly miss Aaron/Amy and Leo but hope to see them soon.
